We here at Mighty Politey
are silly little creatures, creative types convinced
we are still kids in grown-up bodies.
I'm Erik Carlson, the Owner and Creative Director
of Mighty Politey. Most of the time I have to be
a grown-up too, and when I do it's as the Production
Designer for Desperate
Housewives™ on ABC.
On the show, I'm responsible for the overall look
and design of the sets and everything that goes
into them. It's both a creative and exciting job,
but there's not a lot of opportunity to be a silly
monkey. So, during this time of Writers an Actors
strikes, I realized it was prime time to let my
goofiness out...
And that's where Mighty Politey comes in.
We've got a whole new look, a whole new attitude,
and we hope you have as much fun with Mighty
Politey as we do.
What makes us, “Us”?
We're makers of monstrous messes (especially when
we’re in the middle of creating!), we know
that there’s a flip side to nice and his name
is naughty; he’s probably devilishly handsome
with cute elfin ears. Yes; we have a thing for manners
(hence, the name Politey) but catch us when
we’ve missed a scheduled feeding and you’re
likely to hear an unfortunate outburst or two! We
believe in fairytales, love things that sparkle,
are cuckoo for crayons and will melt right before
your eyes when bribed with a cupcake.
We like pet names, LOVE words and know how good
it feels to give back!
What’s New?
First of all, We Are! New Owner, New Look, and New
Designs. Mighty Politey started with our
clever word and picture combinations, and we are
constantly coming up with new ideas, images and
products, so keep checking in to see our latest
creations! Also new to the site, you’ll now
find something available in both Toddler
sizes and for all of you Mamas out there
too (but don't worry, you don’t have to be
anyone’s mama to wear one!).
We promise to always keep your tots in mind and
will continue to look for the best quality clothing
and create the most clever and unique designs. We
will also continue the best costumer service possible
and have added a toll free number to make it easier
for you to reach us with any of your questions and
comments.
And for all of you bloggers out there (we’re
amazed there are so many of you!), Mighty Politey
is catching on. Read our Mighty Blog to see
what’s new with us and to help us brainstorm
ideas. It’s likely you’ll also be forced
to read stories that inspire us or make us giggle,
learn about places we like to shop, recipes we could
die for, movies that we love…and who knows
what else! Just us…just thoughts…just
rambling…
Last of the new additions, but certainly not least,
you’ll notice our Charity section.
It is our goal, in this lifetime, to leave our fingerprint
on this World. We believe that there is no such
thing as a contribution that is too tiny…every
little bit counts. So keep checking in to see ways
that we are reaching out, trying to leave our mark,
and perhaps you’ll be inspired to leave yours.
